3 Ways To Personalize Your Holidays

The holidays are about spending quality time with your family. So why not emphasize your family throughout your home by giving your home a personalized touch? I’m not talking about putting everyone’s name on a stocking. No, I’m talking about unique and subtle ways to make your holidays personal.

Top It All Off

Why not top off your presents with unique bows you cannot buy in store? Or make bows out of materials that are special to your family members? My mother made bows for everyone out of unique materials that related to us, mine being photography film. This makes our decorations a little more personal in such a unique and special way. Want to make your own bows? Directions can be found here.

That’s A Wrap

One of my favorite Pinterest finds was having each family member have a specific wrapping paper so all of their presents were wrapped in that paper. It is a very simple way to personalize your holidays in a way only your family understands. Plus you wouldn’t have to buy labels! If that’s not your cup of tea, there are many other ways to wrap presents in unique and personal fashion, you just have to look for it.

True Colors

Using the favorite colors of your family members makes everything a little more special and personal. From stockings to gift wrap to ornaments, adding pops of favorite colors helps bring the family closer to the overall decor and festivities of the holidays.
